Staying fit seems like a challenge when you are married
With meetings, work deadlines, kids, it seems almost impossible to take time for your own health. You are always on your toes, running after your kids and you think you can’t manage time to stay fit. Because you will feel guilty if you don’t spend enough time with you family after work.
Make exercise a fun activity not a chore
You can stay fit and happy even if you have kids. You can also involve your kids in your workout session. If you will consider exercise as a chore or a task that needs to be done then you won’t be able to stick with your exercise routine for long. Think what activities you can do that will enjoy and keeps you fit. Go out and have fun with your kids. Play some games that involve physical workout. Take your kids for hike, bicycling or any other game. Enjoy with your kids while staying active. This will also make your stronger with your kids.
Always have a plan B
I know, sometime it is difficult to take time when you have kids and hubby to take care of. Half of the battle is win, if you start eating healthy. If you will adopt healthy eating habits then only you will be able to make your family healthy.
If you can’t spend 1 hour in gym then think of other ways of staying fit. Like you can do push ups with your kid, ride bicycle, go for running etc. There should always be a plan B, when things don’t turn out well. If you don’t have time for doing pushups, do something else. Exercise should be like an addiction so that you can’t survive without it.
Stop making excuses
If have time for watching tv, checking Facebook, gossiping then you can surely have time for exercise. So move your lazy ass, off the couch and do something that make your heart pump faster. You are the hero of your family, your kids learn from you. So set a good example for your kids. Stay fit, stay happy.
